NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Jan O. Pedersen, chief scientist for search and marketplace with Yahoo!, has cancelled his Nov. 30 speaking engagement at Vanderbilt. Peterson was to lecture on “Web Search: How Does it Work?” The lecture will be rescheduled at a later date.
Vanderbilt‘s Advanced Computing Center for Research & Education, the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, and the Department of Physics and Astronomy were the co-sponsors of the event.
