A number of activities are planned at Vanderbilt University for Homecoming 2006 leading up to the Vanderbilt Commodores football match-up against the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m. central time. Among the activities planned are a Carolina Chicken Fry, during which students can dine on fried chicken in honor of the Gamecocks, a blood drive, opportunities to do community service, a parade float building party and bow-tying lessons with Chancellor Gordon Gee.
