Edwards calls for action against poverty

Former U.S. senator and Democratic vice presidential nominee John Edwards spoke March 21 at Langford Auditorium as part of Vanderbilt’s annual Impact Symposium. Though the theme of the symposium was “Disappearing Borders,” Edwards spent the bulk of his lecture discussing poverty, which he called “the greatest moral issue of our time.”
