Lecture: New faculty research in black Atlantic history

Four Vanderbilt professors discussed their new research in black Atlantic history in an event sponsored by the Department of History Feb. 14 as part of Black History Month.

The speakers were Tracy Sharpley-Whiting, Director of African American & Diaspora Studies; Anastasia Curwood, African American and Diaspora Studies; Moses Ochonu, Department of History; and Jane Landers, Department of History.

The event took place at the Bishop Joseph Johnson Black Cultural Center on the Vanderbilt campus.
