Lecture: Core freedom or eviscerated right? Considering the future of Roe vs. Wade in the Roberts court

Stefanie Lindquist, associate professor of political science and law, spoke Jan. 23 about how recent and pending Supreme Court changes may affect legal access to abortion in the United States. She made the argument that Roe v. Wade may have impeded and continues to impede progress toward reproductive freedom for women rather than advanced it.

The event was co-sponsored by Women’s and Gender Studies, Medical Students for Choice, N.O.W. and Vandy Fems.
