Vanderbilt University officials and invited guests will dedicate the new $13 million E. Bronson Ingram Studio Arts Center at a 5 p.m. ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 2. Vanderbilt Chancellor Gordon Gee; Nicholas Zeppos, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs; Richard McCarty, dean of the College of Arts and Science; and E. Bronson Ingram’s daughter and a major contributor to the project, Robin Ingram Patton, will be on hand to celebrate the official opening of the 48,000-square-foot facility.
The building will provide a new home for the studio arts program previously housed in the Cohen Building, which was originally built as a museum, on the university’s Peabody College campus. The new center also coincides with the university’s offering a new studio arts major.
