NASHVILLE, Tenn. ñ U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn is the featured
speaker for the April 25 annual meeting for Retirement Learning at
Vanderbilt. Blackburn, who represents Tennessee‘s 7th District and is a
member of the House Energy & Commerce Committee, will discuss
findings from her recent trip to Iraq, Afghanistan and Israel.
The luncheon meeting, which costs $20 per person, takes place at
noon at the Stadium Club at Vanderbilt. The club is located at 210 25th
Ave. S.
Membership in Retirement Learning at Vanderbilt is offered to all
adults interested in taking non-credit, college-level courses and study
groups during the day. The program provides stimulating lectures
and discussions with people of similar interests. The program is open
to the community, and there is no minimum age requirement or
educational prerequisites to join Retirement Learning.
