NASHVILLE, Tenn. ñ Nashville kids ages 4 to 18 are invited to enter
a new local art contest to help decorate the Learning Sciences
Institute at Vanderbilt University.
Young artists can draw, paint or otherwise create a picture of what
learning means to them for a chance to have their work displayed in the
Learning Sciences Institute, located on Vanderbilt‘s Peabody campus.
Winners will also receive a learning-related gift card and will be
invited to a special reception in their honor.
To enter the contest, children should submit a picture no larger
than 12 by 18 inches that they have created on the theme of what
learning means to them. The submission should include the child‘s name,
grade and the daytime phone number of a parent or guardian and should
be mailed to:

The submission deadline is April 22, 2005.
The Vanderbilt Learning Sciences Institute brings together
