MEDIA ADVISORY: Al Sharpton, Ann Coulter and Howard Dean to speak at Vanderbilt‘s Impact Symposium

The Rev. Al Sharpton, a political activist and former Democratic
presidential candidate, and Ann Coulter, a best-selling author and
conservative commentator, will speak in separate lectures on Monday,
March 21, beginning at 7 p.m. in Vanderbilt‘s Langford Auditorium.
Before the sold-out public lectures, Sharpton will participate in a
question-and-answer session with media from 6:30-6:45 p.m. in Room 214
of Light Hall on the Vanderbilt campus. Coulter will participate in a
question-and-answer session from 6:45-7 p.m., also in Room 214 of Light
Hall.

Howard Dean, the former governor of Vermont, who in early February was
elected chair of the Democratic National Committee, will speak Tuesday,
March 22, at 7 p.m. in Langford. Before his sold-out lecture, Dean will
participate in a question-and-answer session with media beginning at
6:30 p.m. in Room 214 of Light Hall.

All three speakers will address “Visions of America” for Vanderbilt‘s
41st annual Impact Symposium, a long-running lecture series that brings
nationally important political speakers to campus.
