The Commodores’ 11-player freshman baseball class is the best in the nation, according to Collegiate Baseball. Six right-handed pitchers and five position players join a Vanderbilt team that returns 25 players from last year’s squad. The top spot in the Collegiate Baseball poll is a first for Vanderbilt during the 30 years the publication has produced the poll.
