H1N1 injectable vaccine (the shot) is currently being provided to
healthcare providers. The date of release of H1N1 shots for
university employees, originally planned for Oct. 26, will be
delayed.
Contributions to the campaign benefit Community Shares, which
together with the Vanderbilt Center for Health Services, is working
for a cleaner environment.
Vanderbilt has been selected as one of the primary clinical
centers for the Type 1 Diabetes TrialNet, a consortium of 14 centers
in the United States and five international centers funded jointly
by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and private diabetes
foundations.
A one-hour seminar offered by Work/Life Connections-EAP can help
Vanderbilt employees find peace of mind when it comes to handling
finances.
The title of the lecture is “Poems and Poem-talk: A poetry
reading and informal chat with Rosanna Warren.”
Admission is free, but you must have a ticket to enter.
The events are free, but reservations are required. All events
are from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 208 Light Hall. Lunch will be
provided.
