One of Metro Nashville’s two water treatment plants has
shut down due to the recent flooding.
Faculty and staff impacted by the floods are invited to
call (615) 936-1327 to make an appointment with a Work/Life
Connections-EAP counselor.
The purpose of Caring Today for a Healthier Tomorrow is to
raise awareness of the value of nursing and help educate the
public about the role nurses play in meeting the health care
needs of the American people.
The decision came down to Yale or Vanderbilt for New
York Times blogger Michael Greshko. Citing Vanderbilt’s
financial aid and a liking for Nashville, he chose
Vanderbilt.
The American Association of Physics Teachers has selected
him as the 2010 recipient of its Klopsteg Memorial Award.
Vanderbilt partners with a number of nonprofits to collect
and reuse discarded items, such as linens, futons, small
chairs, bedding, small drawer sets, mini-fridges, microwaves,
lamps, TVs, computers, books and clothing.
Senior Design Day, showcased the solutions and prototypes
the seniors built to the Nashville community, faculty, staff
and sponsors.
Students used cameras to describe their experience of
Peabody Library, where the photos they produced now hang on
display through May.
