What are you thankful for?

The Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is experiencing a 40 percent increase in the need for emergency food assistance in Davidson County over the same period for 2009.

VU Community Giving campaign’s impact profound

The YWCA is an agency of the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville agency, which is one of the four campaign partners in Vanderbilt’s Community Giving Campaign.

Long-time credit union leader dies

Jewel Kavanaugh, the Vanderbilt University Employees Credit Union’s first full-time employee who went on to the lead the organization for four decades, died Nov. 17. She was 77.

New hospital campaign encourages small donations

The Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt has kicked off a new local message campaign to encourage donations as small as $5 or $10.
