Vanderbilt marks JFK visit to university with free event, renewed call for public service Feb. 16

During President Kennedy’s remarks, he recognized the university’s 90th anniversary and its growth from “a small, Tennessee university and institution, to one of our nation’s greatest.”

Giving campaign raises nearly $1 million

During the 2010 “Give to the Community that Gives to Us” campaign, faculty and staff gave $917,166.12 to help address some of our toughest challenges — hunger, domestic violence, health, education, environment, housing and job training.
