Vanderbilt and Black History:

Perry Wallace played basketball for Vanderbilt from 1966 to 1970, becoming the SEC’s first African American basketball player. Graduating with a B.A. in electrical engineering and mathematics, Wallace went on to earn a law degree and has been a professor of law at American University in Washington, D.C., since 1991.

February is National Black History Month.
