Travel system to debut in July

Vanderbilt’s new travel system, which will offer faculty and staff traveling on university business a better, faster way to book and manage travel and handle expenses for trips, is slated for rollout on July 30.

Athletics to conduct stadium survey in July

Vanderbilt Athletics will survey a wide variety of alumni, donors, ticket holders, former student-athletes and others this July to gauge interest in an enhanced fan experience through a possible renovation of Vanderbilt Stadium, also known as Dudley Field.

Emeritus mathematics professor dies

Charles S. Kahane, professor of mathematics, emeritus, died May 23 as the result of injuries he sustained in a single-vehicle car crash along Interstate 65 in Hardin County, Ky. His wife, Claire R. Kahane, also was killed in the crash.
