A new scholarship named in honor of Owen Graduate School of Management student Taylor Force will honor his contributions to both the university and to his country by supporting graduates of the U.S. military academies attending Owen.

Vanderbilt community remembers Owen student Taylor Allen Force

The normally jubilant sounds of a warm Friday afternoon on Vanderbilt’s campus were punctured by grief, as family, friends, classmates, faculty and staff filled Benton Chapel March 18 to mourn the death of Taylor Allen Force, a first-year MBA student at the Owen Graduate School of Management.

AlertVU test scheduled for Thursday

Vanderbilt will conduct a test of its AlertVU emergency notification system on Thursday, March 24, at 2 p.m. AlertVU sends emergency messages in the event of an imminent threat or danger to the Vanderbilt community.
