Jon Meacham is joining the faculty of Vanderbilt University for the fall 2013 semester. The Pulitzer Prize-winning historian will teach a political science course and lead two events open to the general public.

Football season opener makes parking changes necessary

The Commodore football team will open its 2013 season on Aug. 29 with a nationally televised game on ESPN. With the game being played on a workday, some adjustments in parking and traffic flow are being made to accommodate fans while limiting the impact to Vanderbilt personnel.
