Napolitano, Toobin to join Zeppos, Anderson, Meacham for Supreme Court talk

Vanderbilt Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos will host a roundtable discussion exploring the U.S. Supreme Court’s current vacancy and the controversy surrounding the nomination of a new justice in the final installment of the Vanderbilt Chancellor’s Lecture Series for 2015-16. The event is scheduled from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 2.


 
 

Anonymous donor pledges $5 million to Vanderbilt Dean’s Chair in Engineering

An anonymous donor has pledged $5 million to establish the Dean’s Chair in Engineering at Vanderbilt University’s School of Engineering, Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos announced at the school’s annual distinguished alumni celebration dinner April 14.

Eakin receives 2016 Alumni Education Award

Professor of History Marshall Eakin has received the 2016 Vanderbilt Alumni Education Award. The alumni association’s board of directors selected Eakin for his significant contributions to educational programming as a speaker for Commodore Classrooms and the Vanderbilt Travel Program.
