The Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion will host a welcome reception to celebrate the new academic year on Thursday, Sept. 8. The event is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Student Life Center Board of Trust Room.
All Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff are invited to stop by and meet Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer Dr. George C. Hill and to learn more about the work of his office.
“We would like to offer a warm welcome to all members of the Vanderbilt University community, wishing all of our students, staff and faculty a successful fall semester,” Hill said. “[rquote]I would like to personally encourage you to see yourselves actively contributing to the important work that we will do together this year to advance equity, diversity and inclusion here at Vanderbilt.[/rquote] We look forward to you joining us on this journey.”
