The committee works to keep pace with the rapid changes taking place in the U.S. health care system. Lane’s experience in behavioral health and commitment to patients with behavioral health diagnoses will be helpful as the CPM agenda evolves to focus more on this vulnerable population.

NCQA is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations. It also recognizes clinicians and practices in key areas of performance. NCQA’s Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) is the most widely used performance measurement tool in health care.

The CPM is an invaluable resource to NCQA developing and refining the HEDIS measurement set. Its mission is to advise the NCQA board of directors on performance measures proposed for use in NCQA programs.
