Sherwood named to AUA advisory board

Edward Sherwood, M.D., Ph.D., Corneilius Vanderbilt Professor and vice chair for research in the Department of Anesthesiology and professor of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology, has been selected to join the Scientific Advisory Board of the Association of University Anesthesiologists (AUA).

The board is responsible for planning the scientific program of the AUA annual meeting.

Matthias Riess, M.D., Ph.D., professor of Anesthesiology and Pharmacology, is also on the AUA science board.

Riess’ three-year term expires in 2017.
