WOW April 6: ‘Hope for Humanity? Domestic Sources of Global Conflict’

International Student and Scholar Services invites you to World on Wednesdays, which gives students, faculty and Vanderbilt community members the chance to engage with other parts of campus through presentations on topics that address and open discussion on a breadth of global issues and experiences.

Topic: “Hope for Humanity? Domestic Sources of Global Conflict”

Clive Mentzel, director of Vanderbilt’s Office of Active Citizenship and Service and senior lecturer in political science and public policy, will present on the domestic sources of global conflict.

What is the nature of conflict being experienced around the globe? What are the prospects for resolution of these conflicts? What can we do to avert conflict? This talk will help us understand what we can do to ameliorate and reduce global conflict and live together in more harmonious and peaceful ways.
