We share our most heartfelt condolences with President Garrett’s family and with Cornell students, faculty, staff and alumni. Beth was a dear friend and colleague, a visionary leader and a remarkable public servant who inspired so many through the course of her career. Her sincerity, energy, dedication and fearless approach to challenges uplifted all who knew her. She leaves a tremendous void and will be greatly missed.
