Rites of Spring is April 15-16

Vanderbilt’s 2016 Rites of Spring music festival is scheduled for Friday, April 15, and Saturday, April 16, on Alumni Lawn. Gates will open at 6 p.m. each evening.

Tickets for Rites of Spring are available at all Ticketmaster locations, online at http://www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Tickets also may be purchased with no added service fees at the Sarratt Student Center Box Office.

Tickets for Vanderbilt students are $45 each in advance, or $50 each the week of the festival (April 10 and later). Weekend passes for Vanderbilt faculty and staff and the general public are $50 each in advance, or $60 the week of the festival. Single-day tickets are $40 each and will be available April 1.

This year’s headlining acts are Future and Porter Robinson. Other artists scheduled to appear are Lil Dicky, Bad Suns, Kat Dahlia and The Candid.

“This is the type of lineup that most people only dream about seeing on a college campus,” said Kern Vohra, chair of the Vanderbilt Music Group. “We were able to adhere to our mission of bringing diverse artists to Vanderbilt, and I think we’ve brought the best of the best.”
