Learn how small changes can make a big difference: Celebrate America Saves Week with Fidelity

According to SmartAsset.com, around half of American households and 29 percent of those age 55 and older do not have retirement accounts or pensions. While the 2015 Annual National Survey Assessing Household Savings revealed improvement last year, Americans are still not saving nearly enough for retirement.

For those who want to save more, you’re in luck, as America Saves Week is Feb. 22-27. Fidelity, our retirement administrative services provider, wants to help you meet your objective.

Begun in 2007, America Saves Week involves thousands of national organizations each year that encourage saving money and building personal wealth. The campaign is an annual opportunity for organizations to promote good savings behavior in their employees and a chance for individuals to assess their saving status.

Fidelity is making it easy for you to participate in American Saves Week 2016 with free webinars Feb. 22-27, including a workshop hosted by award-winning personal finance journalist Jean Chatzky. Whether you want to learn how to create a budget, invest with confidence, or brush up on the basics, Fidelity has you covered. Sign up for as many webinars as you’d like: Space is limited, but most webinars will be held multiple times during the week.
