International Student and Scholar Services invites you to World on Wednesdays, where the Vanderbilt community engages in presentations, informal conversations and topical lectures on global issues.
Topic: Khin Mon Nyein, a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow through Peabody College, will discuss the changing political landscape in Myanmar. With a new political environment on the horizon in Myanmar, this presentation will explore whether or not the new majority party, the National League for Democracy, will receive a fair transfer of power from the military government and if this will create a new period of change for Myanmar.
