The Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center (VRWC) offers new youth programs starting in March. In addition to CampVandy, Swim School, and Acorns Youth Swim Team, there will now be Youth Boxing and Youth Tumbling.
Youth Boxing is a coed, noncontract class for ages 12–17. Participants will join USA Boxing Coach Tramaine Crook and learn to move like a pro boxer while having fun and getting fit. Each session is eight weeks and costs $100. The latest session begins March 5.
In Youth Tumbling, children ages 3–8 learn the fundamentals of gymnastics and tumbling through floor exercises and skill-building techniques. Each session is eight weeks and costs $100. The latest session begins March 12. Enrollment is limited, so register early.
For questions about the new programs, contact Jennifer Ray or call the VRWC welcome desk at (615) 343-6627.
