Vanderbilt employees can earn up to $2,500 for referring a full-time nurse with a B.S.N. degree and at least one year of experience. The VUMC Nurse Referral Bonus Program runs from Sept. 2 through Dec. 31, 2015.
The referral bonus will be paid in two installments:
- $1,250 after the nurse has been employed for 90 days; and
- $1,250 after the nurse has worked at Vanderbilt for a full year.
Vanderbilt employees who want to refer a nurse should follow these steps:
- Refer the R.N. to the Work at Vanderbilt website to complete an online application.
- Ask the R.N. to include the referring Vanderbilt employee’s name as it’s listed in People Finder as the referral source when completing the initial application/profile. Referral applications will be “fast tracked.”
