The Vanderbilt University Police Department received two reports concerning theft from offices located in different buildings on campus. The thefts occurred on Monday, Aug. 10, between 8:35 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.
During the investigation, VUPD officers observed on video a person of interest that was in both buildings during the time frame of the thefts. The person was also observed on video walking through several other buildings where he was observed looking into and entering unsecured offices.
The person is an African American male, appears to be approximately 5’10” and 35-40 years of age. He has close-cut hair and glasses and was wearing a baggy orange T-shirt, blue shorts and tennis shoes.
