New Vanderbilt Eye Institute member to lecture Aug. 31

Sabine Fuhrmann will kick off the Monday Seminar Series Aug. 31 with her presentation, “Regulation of Ocular Morphogenesis by Extracellular Factors.”

The talk takes place at 12:15 p.m. in Medical Research Buillding III, Room 1220.

Fuhrmann, a secondary faculty candidate in Cell and Developmental Biology, recently joined Vanderbilt from the University of Utah and is an important new member of the Vanderbilt Eye Institute. Her research is directly in line with the interests of Cell and Developmental Biology—studying retinal development, disease and regeneration.
