Vanderbilt University Alumni Association Board announces eight new members

The Vanderbilt University Alumni Association Board of Directors is pleased to announce eight new directors.

“I am excited to have each of these leaders join the board. They represent the diverse Vanderbilt alumni community and are leaders for vital programs such as Reunion and the Vanderbilt Chapters as well as our important CoRPs, student-alumni program and career adviser volunteers. They truly are the model of alumni engagement,” says Patti White, BA’76, president of the Alumni Association.

The following new AAB members will begin their three-year terms July 1.

Tamara C. Baynham, BE’93, is a medical device consultant for Ingenuity Medical Device Research in Bowie, Md.


Jane Ann Gass, BS’74, was the 2014 Reunion general co-chair and lives in Palm Coast, Fla.


Brandon Miller, BE’06, is an analyst with Accuitive Medical Ventures in Atlanta, Ga.


Kathryn Moreadith Pothier, BMus’09, is a business development and investor relations director at Black Maple Capital in Milwaukee, Wis.


Alex Ryerson, BS’00, is a partner with the Luxor Capital Group LP in New York City.


Kyle Southern, BA ’07, MPP ’09, is a doctoral candidate in higher education administration at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.


Tim Warnock, BA 84, is an attorney at Riley Warnock & Jacobson in Nashville.


Additionally, the Vanderbilt Board of Trust selected Aditya V. Karhade, BE’15, to serve on the Alumni Association Board as Young Alumni Leader before joining the Board of Trust July 1, 2018, for a two-year term.

The Vanderbilt Alumni Association works to engage alumni in the life of the university, to encourage lifelong connections among alumni, and to support the university’s goals.
