A Vanderbilt faculty/staff ID badge is required to receive the vaccination at the OHC, 640 Medical Arts Building, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays and at all offsite vaccination events (more information available at occupationalhealth.vanderbilt.edu).

If you receive a flu vaccine elsewhere, be sure to complete the self-report documentation form so your flu shot will be documented at Vanderbilt.

The OHC will also be set up at Langford Auditorium and at One Hundred Oaks Friday, Dec. 14, during all hours of the Vanderbilt’s Holiday Gift Giveaway.

“As influenza spreads through the region, vaccination is more important than ever, said Melanie Swift, M.D., director of the Vanderbilt Occupational Health Clinic.

“Getting flu means absence from work and a miserable holiday. And our health care workers who are on the front lines are being exposed to flu on a daily basis. Everyone needs to get vaccinated to avoid getting sick and spreading flu to others.”
