March is National Nutrition Month

The following tips can help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.

    Eat more fruits and vegetables. Make a smoothie with spinach (2 cups), pineapple (1 can), frozen banana (1) and milk (1/2 cup).

  • Reduce your sodium. Learn how to use nutrition facts labels to reduce your intake.
  • Make half your grains whole. Tired of the same old grains?  Learn how to cook with quinoa.
  • Track your calories. Use this food tracker to see how well you are matching up with your goal.
