The Vanderbilt Symposium on Infection and Immunology will be held Friday, April 10, at the Student Life Center. Registration deadline is April 1.
Keynote speakers and their topics are:

- Adrian Erlebacher, M.D., Ph.D., New York University, “Epigenetic regulation of decidual inflammation;”
- Richard Locksley, M.D., University of California, San Francisco, “Allergic immunity: new cells, new pathways;”
- Denise Monack, Ph.D., Stanford University, “The yin and yang of persistent Salmonella infections;” and
- Vincent Racaniello, Ph.D., Columbia University, “Antagonism of innate immunity by poliovirus.”

The symposium is co-hosted by the Divisions of Adult and Pediatric Infectious Diseases in the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics, the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology in the Department of Medicine, and the Division of Host-Pathogen Interactions in the Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology.
