(Vanderbilt University)

Vanderbilt employees can earn up to $2,500 for referring a registered nurse through Vanderbilt’s Referral Bonus Program now through April 7.

According to the program, Vanderbilt will pay $2,500 to an employee who successfully refers an RN with a BSN degree and at least one year of experience for a full-time (.75 FTE) nursing position. The referral bonus will be paid in two installments:

  • $1,250 after the nurse has been employed for 90 days; and
  • $1,250 after the nurse has worked at Vanderbilt for one year.

The referral program runs Jan. 7 to April 7, 2015. See the program website for full details and eligibility guidelines.

Vanderbilt employees who want to refer a nurse should follow these steps:

  1. Refer the RN to the Work at Vanderbilt website to complete an online application.
  2. Ask the RN to include the referring Vanderbilt employee’s name, as it’s listed in People Finder, as the referral source when completing the initial application/profile.

Referral applications will be “fast tracked.”
