The Blair School of Music’s VORTEX percussion ensemble will present “Bells, Whistles and a Musical Yard Sale” from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at the Steve and Judy Turner Recital Hall.

The performance will incorporate a screening of the Fleischer brothers’ 1921 silent cartoon Modeling featuring Ko-Ko the Clown — one of the earliest cinematic examples of live-action and animation.

The event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, so audience members are encouraged to arrive early.
