Online vehicle registration opens Aug. 11 for University Central and School of Nursing faculty and staff. Before you register, you will need to have the following information available for each vehicle that you are registering:
- Year, make, model and color of your vehicle;
- The state and license plate number of the vehicle; and
- A campus address.
How to register online
Registering or renewing your permit online is quick and easy to do. Visit Vanderbilt’s Traffic and Parking website and log in, using your VUnet ID and password.
- Select “Permits” from the menu bar at the top, and choose “Purchase Permits.”
- Verify all the pre-filled information and make changes if necessary.
- Complete any missing data.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.
- Your decal will come in campus mail.
Register in person
If you do not have a computer available to you, parking decals also may be purchased during business hours at the computer kiosk located at the Office of Traffic and Parking, 2043 Scarritt Place, in the Wesley Place Garage.
Reserved parking options
You are pre-qualified for a designated parking permit based on your department’s location on campus. If you want a reserved parking space in lieu of your designated area, you may choose from the available reserved parking locations on the permit list.
A memorandum with more detailed information about registering your vehicle was sent through campus mail to all current permit holders.
