Vanderbilt IT is preparing to launch a survey to determine what video conferencing solutions are already in place across Vanderbilt and to identify needs for this service. A team of staff has been assigned to conduct a thorough evaluation of needs of different groups, or constituencies, at Vanderbilt.

The overall goal of the project is to determine the necessary infrastructure, tools and technology needed to meet growing demand for this important collaboration tool. The information collected in the survey will be used to identify requirements for potential enterprise-level solutions.

The survey will be sent to those faculty and staff who have already been involved in some way with video conferencing or have expressed an interest in the service. All faculty and staff are welcome to participate, however. If you do not receive a survey and wish to participate, contact Chriscynthia Ferrell at chriscynthia.m.ferrell@vanderbilt.edu.
