In partnership with the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, the Vanderbilt University Office of Community, Neighborhood, and Government Relations presents “Food for Thought: Visualizing America Through Art by African American Artists and Norman Rockwell,” a three-part lecture series featuring Vanderbilt professors that explores issues surrounding what it means to be an American today. This series provides the community at large with an opportunity to build challenging intellectual connections between American art and culture.
