SECURITY NOTICE: Suspect arrested in indecent exposure incident

UPDATE: On Dec. 4 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Vanderbilt University Police took a suspect into custody for the incident described below. The suspect has confessed and criminal charges have been filed.

ORIGINAL POST: On Dec. 2 at approximately 12:15 p.m., a student contacted VUPD to report that an unknown male exposed himself to the student behind the Sigma Nu house. The suspect was reportedly sitting in a vehicle and called the student over to ask for directions to the bookstore. The student noticed that he was not wearing pants or underwear.

Description: The suspect was described as a black male with a thin build, small beard and short afro-style hair. The vehicle was described as a four-door black Honda Civic.
