SECURITY NOTICE: Robbery

On Nov. 22 at approximately 1:45 p.m., a student resident of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity contacted Vanderbilt University Police Department to report that an unknown person(s) entered the fraternity house and stole two laptop computers.

The fraternity house doors were reported to have been left unlocked overnight. The resident reported that the theft occurred between midnight and 9 a.m. VUPD is investigating the incident.

There is no suspect description at this time.

  • Secure your valuables, record serial numbers or engrave expensive items with identifying information.
  • Always lock your door, even when just going next door.
  • Report lost or stolen residence keys immediately to your apartment manager or residence hall staff.
  • Report suspicious persons or activities to VUPD immediately.
  • In an emergency, dial 911 or use a blue light phone.
