Health Plus is relocating; look for survey to designate Wellness Credit

Health Plus is not going away. The Health Plus offices are relocating to the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center. Health Plus will continue to offer programs and services that support faculty and staff in leading healthier and more productive lives.

Health Plus is moving. The last day for the Kensington Garage location to be open is Saturday, Dec. 21. Faculty and staff are invited to try out the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center at no cost during an open house period from Sunday, Dec. 22, to Sunday, Jan. 5. Membership will be required to use the VRWC beginning Monday, Jan. 6.

You have a Go for the Gold credit option. Faculty and staff who are paying for Vanderbilt Health Plan benefits and participated in Go for the Gold this year will have the option to apply their Go for the Gold Wellness Credit toward membership at the VRWC or toward their health plan.

Look for the Wellness Credit designation survey. During the week of Nov. 18, a survey will be sent by email to faculty and staff who have earned the Go for the Gold Wellness Credit for 2014. Using this survey, faculty and staff may elect to apply the credit toward their health plan account or toward membership at the VRWC. The default, if no option is selected, will be to the health plan account.

The Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center has many great amenities. In the new location, faculty and staff will enjoy extended hours, more parking options and amenities such as a pool, indoor and outdoor tracks, more than 80 group fitness classes each week, a demonstration kitchen and more.
