Open Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to sign up for or waive the following benefits:
- Health, dental and vision
- Short-term disability
- Accidental death & dismemberment
- Flexible spending accounts
The benefits you choose are effective Jan. 1—Dec. 31, 2014, and cannot be changed unless you have a qualifying life event, such as getting married.
All benefits-eligible employees should enroll. Even if you’re keeping your same benefits, you should enroll. Open Enrollment begins at 8 a.m. on Oct. 16 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 31.
Full details will be available on the Open Enrollment website Oct. 1. Also, be sure to mark your calendars for the Benefits and Health Fair, scheduled for Oct. 15 and 16.
