Tailgate 2013, a free event for Vanderbilt staff and faculty, is scheduled for 3-5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7. Food, games, a DJ and fun for the whole family will be available at Student Recreation Center Field 1 (enter from Children’s Way). Please show your Vanderbilt ID to gain admission.
Staff and faculty also may reserve up to four free tickets for the Sept. 7 football game against Austin Peay, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Tickets must be reserved in advance online, and a limited number are available. A ticket is required for each game attendee, including infants.
All tickets have now been reserved.
Tickets for the game will be available for pick up ONLY at the Tailgate event and not from the Department of Athletics ticket office. Tickets will be distributed only on event day, Sept. 7—there is no early pick up. You must show a Vanderbilt ID to pick up your reserved tickets.
Any reserved tickets not claimed by 6 p.m. Sept. 7 will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 6:15 p.m.
Free parking will be available in West Garage on Children’s Way. Please use the Children’s Way entrance. There will be no parking adjacent to the field.
