Vanderbilt head football coach James Franklin is now at a store near you—at least his likeness is.
Autographed cutouts of Franklin are on display at four area retailers:
- Sport Seasons on White Bridge Road
- College Station at Cool Springs Galleria
- Locker Room at Opry Mills Mall
- Alumni Hall at Rivergate Mall
Commodore fans are invited to register to win the cutout, as well as a football autographed by the coach, now until Aug. 30. The contest is sponsored by Vanderbilt’s Office of Trademark Licensing.
The Commodores will open the 2013 football season against Ole Miss at Vanderbilt Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 29. Fans are encouraged to wear all black for the game, which also will be televised nationally on ESPN. Kick off is at 8:15 p.m.
Fans also are invited to vote daily for Vanderbilt in the second annual College Colors Day spirit competition and help win a $10,000 scholarship for the school.
