A new session of Weight Watchers at Work starts on June 5 at the Student Life Center.
A meeting typically lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour (that includes weigh-in and the meeting topic). This group meets at 11 a.m. in Room 3 of the lower level at the Student Life Center on Wednesdays. Weigh-in is at 11 a.m. and the meeting lasts until 11:45 a.m.
The difference between At Work meetings and traditional Weight Watcher meetings is that all costs are paid in sessions. This means that everything is paid at the time of joining. The cost includes all meetings for the session and your materials. You can join at any time and the cost will be prorated for the number of weeks left in the session.
The cost of a full 13-week session is $156 for new members and $143 for lifetime members over their goal weight by more than 10 pounds. Payment can be made by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. All check payments must include a driver’s license number and two phone numbers. (Vanderbilt does not process payroll deduction at this time.)
Members also may choose to pay for their membership by purchasing the Monthly Pass. The pass is available for $49 each month (an average of $11.30 per week) and renews
automatically until you choose to cancel. Please be aware that members who choose this option must be 18 years of age, have a valid credit card and access to a computer and printer. At Work Members who choose the Monthly Pass option will be expected to continue their pass throughout the series. The Monthly Pass offers convenience, savings and free eTools.
