National cancer prevention study enrolls 168 at Vanderbilt

Rose Vick, MSN, instructor at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, has blood drawn during Cancer Prevention Study-3 enrollment on April 25. Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, the goal of the nationwide study is to examine a wide spectrum of lifestyle, behavioral, environmental and genetic risk factors linked to cancer risk and death. Vanderbilt served as a host site and enrolled 168 participants, nearly half of all enrolled at four sites in the Nashville area. (Photo by Steve Green)
