Vanderbilt ‘Harry Potter’ class goes to Oxford over spring break

Two Vanderbilt professors are teaching a psychology class, Harry Potter: Child Development and Children’s Literature, in Oxford, England, over spring break.

Ann Neely, associate professor of the practice of education in Vanderbilt’s Peabody College of education and human development; and Georgene Troseth, associate professor of psychology, will teach 23 undergraduates and master’s students in Oxford starting March 3.

Activities will include visits to Leavesden Studios, where the Harry Potter movie sets reside; the Roald Dahl Museum; and London’s famed West End, where they will see Matilda: The Musical.
