Vanderbilt’s annual Spring Faculty Assembly is scheduled for 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in Ingram Hall at the Blair School of Music. All faculty are encouraged to attend.
Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos will present some of the university’s highest honors to faculty, including the Harvie Branscomb Distinguished Professor Award, the Alexander Heard Distinguished Service Professor Award, the Joe B. Wyatt Distinguished University Professor Award, the Madison Sarratt Prize for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching and the Ellen Gregg Ingalls Award for Excellence in Classroom Teaching.
William Schaffner, chair of the Department of Preventive Medicine, will open the program with a presentation, followed by a welcome and opening remarks by Faculty Senate Chair Sal March.
A reception in the Ingram Hall lobby will follow the assembly.
